When Jesus Comes to Where You’re Stuck

At the pool of Bethesda lay a man who had been waiting thirty-eight years for healing.
He believed the only way to be whole again was to reach the water first — but someone else always got there before him.

Then Jesus came.

He didn’t tell the man to crawl faster or try harder. He simply asked, “Do you want to be healed?”
It sounds almost harsh until you realize what Jesus is really doing — He’s inviting the man to tell the truth:
“I can’t heal myself, and no one will help me.”

That’s where healing begins — when we stop pretending we can fix our own paralysis and turn our eyes toward the One who can.

Jesus told him, “Get up, take up your bed, and walk.”
And immediately, the man stood.

Where in your life do you feel blind, lame, or paralyzed — unseen, invalid, or unworthy?
What are you looking to for healing that isn’t Jesus? He’s not across the pool waiting for you to prove yourself.
He’s already standing beside you, saying, “Look at Me. Get up. Walk.”
